He worked two jobs and indulged in alcohol, so his presence was fleeting though not abusive. Nearly all of the male presence in her life came from her nights in clubs or whatever teenage guys she hung around. She was called on May 20, 2003. At first, Rhiannon was uncertain as to the cause of the changes in her body (increased agility and strength, strange nightmares, a sense that something was hiding in the shadows at night). Attempts to broach the subject with her father brought on arguments about her use of drugs. Their relationship deteriorated. From time to time, Rhiannon would leave home to stay with a male friend. In mid-October of 2003, Rhiannon was approached by an agent of the Powers That Be named Whistler. He claimed that the changes in her body were symptomatic of the slayer calling. Within weeks, Rhiannon had been introduced to a former Watcher named Collins. Rhiannon lived and trained under his tutelage for 5 years, until a rift opened between them when he left her in the middle of a fight where she was badly outnumbered. She left Detroit in July of 2008, when a dream led her to a small town called Searchlight, Nevada. She stayed in Nevada for 5 years, developing a long-term romantic relationship with Joseph Tropiano (and briefly, Whistler). While there, Rhiannon developed close friendships with Connor Reilly, Purity Storms, and Kris Michaels, as well as made enemies of Deanna, Lady Elfleda, Katherine Williams, and Grace Hutchinson. She was briefly watched by Matthew Stone. Nevada (and in particular, Elfleda's involvement in her life) tested Rhiannon's loyalties on numerous occasions, but she eventually became a leader amongs the white hats. In 2013, a year after the reveal of the supernatural, Rhiannon and Joseph (along with quite a few people from Nevada) relocated to Chicago, Illinois in response to a volatile dimension portal that required close attention. Rhiannon struck up a training relationship with a Slayer named Juliet. After 1 year, Rhiannon and Joseph got engaged, a few days before a strange fissure opened in the sky and a 'white-out' of sorts occurred. While Rhiannon (and others that played their roles) was rewarded by the Powers That Be with a wish, there was a catch. A strange 'copying' effect transferred an identical set of Rhiannon's memories and personality into a doppelganger in an alternate reality, nearly the same as the one she'd always known, except that the year was 2009, her doppelganger was in Key West, FL, and the world didn't know about the supernatural. While her old life continues elsewhere, Rhiannon is forced to let go of her past and build a new life in an unfamiliar world, taking over her doppelganger's life as it stands. Differences in Alternate Rhiannon Lee's Situation: In February 2004 (when she was 17), her father was killed in an accident at a packing plant, a few months after she moved in with her Watcher, Collins. Instead of graduating high school, Rhiannon got her GED a year early and focused on slaying. In 2005, she used settlement money to pay for tuition to the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, where she studied Illustration and Graphic Design for 2 years. In 2007, a permanent rift was opened between Rhiannon and her Watcher when he left her to fend for herself in a fight where she was badly outnumbered. She dropped out of college. In the summer of 2008, she followed a dream that told her to go to Key West, Florida. She's been there for a year and a half. She rents a house with Connor Reilly. She works for the Monroe County Tourism Development Council, designing materials like brochures, posters and graphics for their website.
